SWMRA MISSION STATEMENT
The Southwest Chapter of the Marketing Research Association mission is to
add value
to the membership; we will do this by:
- Educating members about the latest techniques and technologies in all aspects
of opinion and marketing research - including design, data collection, sampling,
processing, analysis, and management - to promote excellence in opinion and marketing
research;
- Providing more in-depth communications with other professionals through newsletters,
networking opportunities, meetings and conferences;
- Promoting chapter membership in all segments of opinion and marketing research,
encouraging membership participation through opportunities for involvement;
- Providing leadership and direction to promote professionalism and excellence within
our membership while adhering to the professional standards of the national
Marketing Research Association;
- Encouraging understanding and appreciation of opinion and marketing research by
the general public;
- Encouraging membership cooperation with educational institutions in preparing
students for careers in opinion and marketing research.
